The short answer: Phoenician Garden sits at 1025 E Herndon Ave #106, on the corner of First and Herndon, across from St. Agnes Medical Center. We're a Lebanese and Mediterranean kitchen: wraps, kebob and shawarma plates, dips, salads and bowls. We're open 11am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 8pm Sunday, to dine in or pick up. This is one restaurant's page, not a list of everywhere near the hospital.
The Corner of First and Herndon
We're not a directory and we won't pretend to be one. There are other places to eat along Herndon, and ranking them isn't our business. What we can do is tell you what we know, because we're the restaurant across Herndon. What to do with half an hour, and what to do with a whole floor to feed.
Parking is free in the Herndon Town Center plaza. Pull in, park, walk to suite 106. Our hours run 11am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 8pm on Sunday. The locations page has the address, the map link and the hours in one place.
You can eat here or take it with you. If you're carrying food back across the lot, say so when you order and we'll pack it to travel. Mo Hmaidan opened this place on Herndon in 2003, and his son Tarek runs it today.

When You've Got 30 Minutes
A wrap is usually the answer. Gyro comes as chicken or a seasoned beef and lamb blend, in Greek pita with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki. The Shawarma Wrap comes chicken with garlic sauce, or beef with hummus spread. The Garlic Chicken Wrap and the Spicy Chicken Wrap are on there too. The Falafel Wrap is house-made falafel with a tahini drizzle. Each one comes with rice pilaf, bulgur or fries. Foiled up, it's a one-hand meal.
Some things travel better than others. Wraps hold. Kebobs hold. Dips and pita hold, and the Flight of Dips is built to share. Fries are the one thing that never forgives a walk, so if the food is going somewhere, take the rice pilaf or the bulgur instead.
Order before you leave rather than once you arrive. Order online or call it in, put your name on it, and pick it up at the counter. We won't quote you a wait, because that depends on the room.
Sitting Down for an Hour
Some days you're not on a break at all. You're waiting on news, and what you want is a table, a real plate and a room that isn't a waiting room. There are booths along the wall.
The Chicken Shawarma Plate is the easy first order: 7-spice chicken with house-made hummus, rice pilaf and pita, and Tarek sources most of our spices straight from Lebanon. Spicy Chicken is fire-grilled diced chicken in our own blend and the top seller, and it's the one broiler plate that doesn't come with pita. Combo Kebobs bring charbroiled beef and chicken with bell peppers, onions and garlic sauce, and dinner adds a kefta skewer. Our shawarma and gyro are char-grilled in small batches and sliced fresh.
Eating alone doesn't mean ordering a banquet. A bowl or a wrap with lentil soup on the side is a full meal, and the bowls are signature compositions made fresh to order. The Vegetarian Delight puts grape leaves, falafel, house-made hummus, bulgur pilaf, tabbouleh and pita on one plate, with baba ghannouj at dinner, and there's more on the vegetarian side. Our kitchen handles all the major allergens, sesame included, and we can't guarantee any item is free from cross-contact, so check the allergen guide first.
Feeding an Office or a Night Shift
A whole department is a different problem. Individual wraps are the format that works best: one per person, labeled, no serving spoons, no line. Trays make more sense when everyone eats at once. Rice pilaf, sauteed vegetables, tabbouleh and specialty salads all travel well. Family-Style Dinners serve 4-5 and The Feast serves 6-8. Catering servings are estimates based on average portions and may vary depending on event style and selection.
Our medical office catering page walks through the packages and how ordering works. We ask for at least 24 hours notice on medical office orders. Catering delivers across Fresno and Clovis within 25 miles of First and Herndon, and delivery is driven by third-party drivers.
