Pressed Into Discs,
the Lebanese Way
Look at our falafel and you'll notice it right away: we press ours into thick discs, not the golf-ball shape you get most places. It's how falafel is traditionally made across Lebanon, and it's the reason one guest told us she was skeptical at first, then said the first bite took her straight back to her childhood. The flat shape isn't only for looks. More surface area means more crackly, deep-golden crust on every piece.
What's inside earns that crust. Every batch starts with dried chickpeas soaked in cold water overnight, then ground fresh the same day with parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, and our family spice blend. We never reach for canned chickpeas or a pre-made falafel mix. Raw soaked chickpeas fry up drier and crunchier, while canned beans turn soft and mealy. You can taste the difference in the first bite.
We serve it six pieces to an order, or three for a smaller plate, with tahini and warm pita and a scatter of diced tomato and onion on top. Want it portable? Our falafel wrap is rolled in warm lavash with tahini, pickles, tomato, and fresh herbs. Or make it a meal with the Falafel Bowl, sautéed vegetables and tahini over rice or bulgur pilaf, right alongside our other Mediterranean bowls.
All of it is naturally vegan and fried to order through the day. Whether you're dining in, ordering online for pickup, or getting falafel delivery across Fresno and Clovis, you'll taste why it stays one of the top sellers on our full menu.
From the Overnight Soak to the Fryer
Vegan by Nature, Not by Substitution
Some kitchens make a vegan dish by taking something out. Our falafel was plant-based from the start: chickpeas, fresh herbs, onion, garlic, and spices, with nothing swapped or removed. That's why it works for a mixed table. Vegans, vegetarians, and the meat-eaters they came in with all order it side by side.
A few honest notes before you order. Our falafel is made without wheat ingredients, but it's fried in oil shared with other menu items and served with pita, so we can't call it gluten-free or guarantee it's free from cross-contact. It's served with tahini, which contains sesame. Our kitchen handles all nine major allergens, so please tell your server about any allergy before you order.

What Fresno Says About Our Falafel
I'm very picky with my falafel and when I saw it was in a donut shape I got skeptical. Then I bit into it and it took me back to my childhood. Very good falafel! They have good chicken too but they're falafel is even betterEleanor Israeli ★★★★★ Google
Food is absolutely phenomenal! Portions are huge for what you pay for, service is perfection and when I didn't want something from my Vegetarian Delight plate, there were no problems substituting the item. Atmosphere is family friendly and also romantic. Food came out quick! I highly recommend the Vegetarian Delight plate especially if you like lemon and strong sour notes in your food and the Baba Ghannouj is addictive and the falafel is the best in town; crunchy, crispy and flavorful! The price of the food is worth every penny and you will go home with leftovers for another full meal. And get the Baklava!!! You will not be disappointed. I highly, highly recommend this restaurant!L. W. ★★★★★ Google
not sure what happened to my five-star review from a few years ago but recently I had their falafel wrap, beef shawarma and shish kabob.. and I've got to tell you... you will not find a better meal in Central Valley.Christian Parley ★★★★★ Google
You just can't ever go wrong here. The spicy hummus with pita bread, tabouli salad, and falafel is the best out there. The Phoenician veggie pizza is fantastic with or without the sauce, and that's all just the appetizers. The spicy chicken plate is so good that I can't get enough of it. My daughter enjoyed her chicken sharwarma so much but was full off of the appetizers, that now she has leftovers. But she wasn't the only one with leftovers. Then, to end your meal with a piece of baklava, which is my absolute favorite. It has the perfect amount of sweetness, and all of the nuts just make it the best dessert yet. You have to be out of your mind to not enjoy the food!!Denita Goodwin ★★★★★ Best of the Web
Falafel Questions, Answered
Why is your falafel shaped like a disc instead of a ball?
We press ours into thick discs, the way falafel is traditionally made across Lebanon, instead of rolling it into golf balls. The flat shape gives each piece more surface area, so it fries up with a crisper, deeper-golden crust. It's the first thing many guests notice, and often the thing that wins them over.
Do you use canned chickpeas or falafel mix?
Neither. We start with raw dried chickpeas soaked in cold water overnight, then grind them fresh the same day with parsley, cilantro, onion, garlic, and our family spice blend. Canned chickpeas and pre-made mixes fry up soft and mealy. Raw soaked chickpeas fry up drier and crunchier, with a herb-packed center.
Is your falafel vegan?
Yes, naturally. It's made from chickpeas, fresh herbs, onion, garlic, and spices, with no animal products, and it's served with tahini sauce. The falafel appetizer, wrap, and Falafel Bowl are all plant-based. It's a dish vegans and meat-eaters happily share at the same table.
Is falafel gluten-free?
Our falafel is made without wheat ingredients, but it's fried in oil shared with other menu items and served with pita, so we can't call it gluten-free or guarantee it's free from cross-contact. If you have celiac disease or a serious wheat allergy, please talk with us before ordering.
Does the falafel contain sesame or other allergens?
Yes. Falafel is served with tahini, which is made from sesame. Our kitchen also handles milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soy, and we can't guarantee any item is free from cross-contact. Please tell your server about any food allergy before you order. See our full allergen guide.
